Dissonant," provided inspiration for On the Dissonant. Hinted
at and implied throughout, Mozart's harmony appears explicitly on at the
very end. On the Dissonant was written for Melbourne Windpower, which premiered the work in June 1998 at Melba Hall, Melbourne, Australia, under the direction of Richard Runnels. -- R.C. |
