Ghent Percussion Font Set (© 1996-2001) is a family of two TrueType fonts: Ghent Percussion Font and Ghent Mallets Font
Ghent Percussion Font includes more than 90 percussion symbols for instruments, mallets and beaters, and playing methods. The pictograph designs are based on the 1974 conference on music notation held in Ghent, Belgium. These symbols are now in wide-spread use. The sample shown below is at 36 points.

Ghent Mallets provides additional flexibility for indicating sticks, mallets, and beaters. more than 20 mallets (with mallet-head up and handle-end up); hand, fist, finger, finger nail; coin, bow, +, -, numbers 0-9, and other characters. Symbols can be plain or boxed, and used in any combination. This sample is at 36 points.
